This Sound Percussion Pro 5-Piece drum shell pack includes a 22" x 16" kick drum, 12" x 9" and 13" x 10" toms, a 16" x 16" floor tom, and a matching 14" x 5-1/2" snare drum with deluxe throw-off. The 8-ply basswood drum shells feature 45-degree bearing edges, black hoops and lugs, and double-ply drumheads. The toms come with suspension mounting brackets and heavy-duty tom arms. The suspension mounts allow the drums to resonate freely creating a more open tone that sings. The kick drum is adorned with telescoping bass drum spurs for solid support. Cymbals and hardware not included.

Optimized Shell Configuration

Based on the original formula, VSX and VX drumsets feature blended Birch Ply shells with 6/8 technology. Vision's combination of six-ply rack toms and eight-ply floor toms and bass drums deliver a dynamically balanced sound. The extra thickness in the floor toms and bass drums gives those drums the same projection as the higher frequency rack toms, resulting in the best sounding kit in its price range. SST Shell Design

Sometimes a favorite frame drum just needs to be mounted on a percussion rack. That's why we designed a compact, light weight frame drum holder that is completely adjustable to fit any frame drum. Four rounded vertical "fingers" slide along individual tracks, and are secured by a knurled knob. This sets the spacing. The frame drum is secured when two spring-loaded screws are tightened so that the vertical fingers grip the frame from inside and out. Set-up and break-down go fast. Steel mounting clamp fits any standard rod.
